We believe that buildings and structures can be both attractive, great to use and of benefit to the environment through thoughtful design and an active collaboration between the various stakeholders. This approach needs to be holistic and adopted from the very first step through the various RIBA design stages and beyond, encompassing the entire lifecycle of the development.

Acoustics is a critically important factor to take account of in view of its very transverse nature and the severe challenge of retrofitting solutions for inadequate sound insulation and adverse environmental noise impacts.

Calibration

All our test equipment is independently calibrated to ensure that all readings that we acquire are traceable, reliable and suitable as evidence in legal cases.

Software

We use a diverse range of acoustic softwares – both proprietary and developed in-house. This allows us to produce 3D environmental noise mapping.
