Qualified Acoustic Engineer (AMIOA, PGDip & MSc) with over 10 years’ engineering experience including as a technical specialist engaged in acoustics, noise & vibration both in environmental consultancy. Leadership role in the day-to-day management of the consultancy practice including responsibility for all operational activities and financial aspects.
Specialties: Assessing, controlling, and mitigating noise and vibration in various environments and sectors such as Residential, Commercial, Industrial, Transportation, Healthcare, Entertainment, Environmental, etc. Collaborating with architects, engineers, planners and other professionals to ensure that designs incorporate optimal acoustic properties, including sound absorption, reflection, and diffusion. This involves providing advice and includes the recommendation of specific materials, construction techniques, or mechanical modifications. Also specialises in 3D noise modelling utilising SoundPLAN software and acoustic measurement & analysis using NTi Audio instrumentation.
